IFOODTC Welcome Reception
The IFOODTC 2026 conference programme will officially get underway with a the Welcome Reception at Bodegas Yzaguirre, one of Spain’s best-known producers of traditional vermouth. The evening will provide a relaxed introduction to the food, drink and cultural heritage of the Costa Daurada, bringing together IFOODTC delegates, speakers, partners and local representatives ahead of the packed conference programme of talks, panel discussions, round tables, B2B Workshop and food tourism experiences.

Cambrils Food (Tapas) Tour
After a packed afternoon of meetings at the IFOODTC B2B Workshop hop aboard Cambrils’ charming Trenet tourist train right outside the Sol Port Cambrils (IFOODTC venue) for an atmospheric November evening journey up to the historic Old Town. Glide through the atmospheric streets to explore cozy, traditional taverns and intimate local eateries. Sample local treasures, including extra virgin olive oil, fresh daily-catch tapas, and regional wines.

A Taste of Terres de l’Ebre – From Terra Alta to the Delta
Uncover the dramatic landscapes and deep-rooted flavors of Terres de l’Ebre on an extraordinary journey through history and artisan tradition. Venture into the breathtaking mountain scenery of Terra Alta, where you’ll explore ancient Iberian villages, stand on historic Battle of the Ebro viewpoints, and discover the Horta landscapes that inspired Picasso. Recharge over a legendary local clotxa lunch before tasting the region’s renowned mountain wines. The journey then descends to the Ebro Delta to explore an authentic rice mill.
