The IFOODTC International Conference Programme 2026 presents a dynamic and immersive programme that brings together thought leadership, business exchange, and authentic destination experiences across Cambrils and the Costa Daurada.
The conference will feature keynote sessions from Peter Syme and Judith Lewis, who will share expert insights into innovation, digital strategy, and the evolving landscape of food and wine tourism. Additional speakers will be announced in due course, further enriching the programme with international perspectives across tourism, gastronomy, and destination development.

A dedicated Cambrils & Costa Daurada destination presentation will showcase the region’s identity as a leading Mediterranean hub for gastronomy and tourism, highlighting its unique cultural and culinary heritage.
Running in parallel throughout the event, the exhibition area will offer a continuous space for discovery and networking, bringing together regional products, tourism experiences, and innovative destination offerings.
A B2B Workshop will connect tour operators, travel agents, and industry suppliers through targeted meetings designed to foster new business opportunities and long-term strategic partnerships.

The programme is further enriched by a series of curated experiential activities that immerse delegates in the culture, traditions, and gastronomy of the destination:
Oleotour & Olive Oil Tasting
Discover the award-winning Mestral extra virgin olive oil (DOP Siurana) through a visit to the Cambrils Agricultural Cooperative olive mill, followed by a guided tasting of local products.

Puerto Pesquero & Romesco Showcooking
Explore Cambrils’ rich fishing heritage with a guided visit to the fishing port and Fishermen’s Guild, culminating in a live romesco showcooking experience and gastronomic tasting. The evening is complemented by traditional habaneras, “fideus rossos,” and the iconic “rom cremat.”

Tuna Tour & Catamaran Experience
Presentation of Tuna Tour followed by a tasting of premium Balfegó bluefin tuna products and a sailing experience aboard the Blue Diamond catamaran, offering spectacular views of the Costa Daurada coastline (weather permitting).

Post-Conference Optional Networking Fam Trips
To extend the experience beyond the conference, delegates will have the option to join curated post-conference day trips showcasing the diversity of the province of Tarragona to include:
Priorat – Montsant – Siurana – Cartuja de Escaladei – A journey through the iconic Priorat & Montsant wine regions, including Siurana and the historic Cartuja de Escaladei, with visits to wineries and discovery of one of the most spectacular landscapes in Spain.

Reus & Tarragona – Explore Reus through its Modernist heritage, including Casa Navàs and the Gaudí Centre, complemented by a vermouth tasting experience. The programme continues to Tarragona for a guided Roman heritage route followed by a curated gastronomic experience.
